Regal Distributors - Goods Return and Exchange Policy

  1. All transactions and/or sales entered into with Regal Distributors SA (Pty) Ltd (hereinafter "Regal"), shall be subject to and governed by our standard terms and conditions of sale, a copy of which is available on request.
  2. All and any returns and/or refunds shall be governed by our standard terms and conditions of sale. All Regal Warranties and Repairs are limited to carry in.
  3. No exchange, credit or refund will be done without the original invoice being presented to Regal.
  4. The customer must return the product within 10 days of receipt and is required to inform Regal in writing via online.care@regalsecurity.co.za (within abovementioned ten-day period).
  5. Goods returned after 30 days will not be accepted back for credit, exchange or refund.
  6. Goods returned for credit or refund must be returned in the original condition and original packaging within 10 days of delivery. Goods repackaged in the original packaging are subject to a handling fee of up to 10%, or at Regal’s discretion.
  7. The Customer is responsible for all return costs, including insurance. The goods must reach Regal within 10 days of the written notice. Regal will not be responsible for goods lost in transit.
  8. No goods will be accepted for return/exchange/refund after six months from date of purchase.
  9. All electronic goods will be tested before any exchange, credit or refund is issued.
  10. Regal will not be held liable for any product failure once installed or for damage caused by incorrect use or installation.
  11. Damage caused by abuse, misuse, unauthorized modifications, or acts of God will not be covered.
  12. Faulty goods returned within six months of purchase may be refunded, replaced or repaired at the customer’s election, subject to clauses 3–9.
  13. Regal may refuse a warranty claim if the damage exceeds the product’s specifications or performance levels.
  14. A repaired/exchanged product under warranty will carry a further 3-month warranty on that repair, without extending the original warranty period.
  15. External repairs carry a carry-in warranty equivalent to the supplier’s warranty.
  16. Regal’s repair department offers a 3-month warranty on specific repairs. Other faults will be treated as new repairs.
  17. Repaired items will not be released until all payments due are received.
  18. A 10% handling fee may be charged for items found to be without fault or if additional reports are requested.
  19. Repaired goods not collected within 120 days may be resold to defray costs.
  20. If stock is unavailable, Regal may procure similar goods with the customer's consent. Regal is not liable for shortages beyond its control.
  21. Additional for Online Purchases:
    • Goods damaged on delivery or in transit

    Notify us within 10 days of delivery by logging a return via phone (010 745 6489), the website under Order History (dashboard → order history → details → log return button), or email online.care@regalsecurity.co.za. Feedback will be provided within 7 days. Product may be repaired or replaced after technical evaluation.

    • Defective Goods

    A defect is a product that does not operate as per manufacturer’s instructions or specifications. Notify us within 10 days of delivery/collection via the same channels as above.

    • Unwanted or Incorrect Goods purchased

    Return products to your nearest Regal branch, Head Office, or via a *pre-arranged Regal courier service within 10 days for exchange, credit or refund.

    • Goods must be in original packaging
    • No visible wear and tear
    • In a new resaleable condition

    *Goods returned via Regal’s pre-arranged courier service will incur a courier handling fee payable by the customer.
